Bamboo is an invasive plant that is taking over part of the banks of the Roland Run. Several years ago, the Baltimore County Department of Environment and Sustainability cut down the same bamboo forest. The forest has grown and displacing the natural plants and trees. This is the area the Friends of Roland Run cut down.
